I just used expedia to book a family holiday to New York for april this year.
We went back in august 2009 with expedia being the travel company, but i remember having a few complications with the printed E-ticket.
I have printed out vouchers for the broadway show and for the airport shuttle, however the receipt i printed out did not have a flight number.
Where would i find the correct thing to print out?
Thanks for any help!

I think you would enjoy New York honestly. New York isn’t as bad as when I was a child, but it still can be unsafe if your not careful. As a recommendation, don’t stay out past like 10 pm, because after that alot of drunks tend to be out, and it can get very dangerous. Unless of course you know how to take care of yourself. But it also depends on the area of New York your in. As long as you don’t do stupid things. Like get drunk to where you can’t remember a thing, you should be fine. As for the month that is the best time to go, i’d say during the spring months can be good. There are also the winter months too. And even though alot of attactions close during the winter, there are also alot of things you can only see during the winter months.
How do I recover from a holiday to new york, I want to go back and live there?
I just came back from New york and I live in Britain. Is american life all that different from Britain and are there any tips to stop me wanting to go back
I know exactly how you feel when i was 15 i spent a summer in new york at a summer camp and I literally cried from jfk airport to dublin. The feeling of wanting to live their left after a while. All i can advise is either do it. And if you can’t due to financial family etc then plan your next trip. You have the fever I am heading back for the 3rd time now in sept/oct. And piece of advice don’t watch friends or you’ve got mail coz everytime i watch either of them it makes me want to be in new york so bad.

What should i expect from a holiday in new york?
i recently booked a holiday to new york in Janurary. i live in north wales uk, and am 20 years old (female), just want to know what to expect as far as drinking/smoking goes? and what sort of thing to go and see or do! opinions from people who live in new york would be awsome!! thank you!!!!!
Well drinkings 21 so it’s up to you wherther you want to try your luck at that. As for smoking, loads of new Yorkers smoke, just not inside but smoking on the street is fine.
I’m not a New Yorker, but I’ve just returned from NY and it was ace!
Make sure to do all the touristy things, go to the Statue of Liberty. You can go on the island and Ellis island as well (that’s were all the immigrants were processed) well worth a look. Go see the empire state building or rockafella centre for a good look of the city. I would also recommend going to see Ground Zero, it’s a very moving and strange place to see.
There’s a really good exhibition called “The Bodies” that is well worth seeing, it’s very interesting, although if your are squeamish then think twice before going. Madame Tussauds is worth a look and so is Ripley’s believe it or not ( a interesting museum with some really weird things) .If you can try and get in a Broadway show as they are brilliant! I went to see Chicago and Hairspray (not my choice but turned out to be fantastic, a real laugh and had everyone dancing).
For food there’s a brilliant restaurant in Grand central station i think it’s Michael Jordan’s restaurant and well worth going to.
Also there’s a 50s style dinar called Jonny Rockets (cant remember where it is, but ask someone at your hotel and they might be able to help) that’s also very good.
Oh yea and try Hard rock cafe, i think it was on times square its good.
Hope that helps, enjoy your trip.
